Spear of Africa Peace (SoAP) is a youth-led non-profit organization that works to address SDG 3 and partly SDG 4 by recognizing art and storytelling as a form of therapy to help refugees and youth deal with the trauma. SoaP's main activity is a yearly therapeutic essay contest that acts as a soul-mending safe space for sharing the - often traumatic experiences. SoAP fosters creativity, power of imagination and finding healing through storytelling.

Sustainability. As a nonprofit, SoAP depends largely on donations and grants in its early phases. Additional corporate and organization collaborations, as well as strong public relations, are necessary for this project to successfully operate.
Forming a network of philanthropists. Governments, embassies, the United Nations, and in my opinion Moonshot have all provided significant support, allowing us to just big-brain the project but more is needed
